An Interview with Denise Dilbey

Executive Global: How has your experience living in India, Spain, Taiwan, Upstate New York, Silicon Valley and Carmel, deepened your insight into the world of real estate?
Denise Dilbey: Halton Hills, Caledon, and Erin are blessed with a large number of rural real estate options, whether searching for a property on the edge of Town or a quiet and remote family home on a country section can be attained. Rural real estate in Halton Hills and Erin can be found in a range of environments, from a house on acreage with wide open spaces, rich farmland and forest to executive subdivision estates close to cities and towns. These markets have proven to be a great investment opportunity holding or increasing their value through past turbulent market swings.
EG: How does the process of selling farm and country real estates differ from that of another niche areas such as waterfront, or golf estates?
DD: While the process of selling properties is generally the same, the complexities of selling a farm and country estate will differ from other niche areas due to personal or commercial uses, environmental protections or government legislations. My vast experience and knowledge of all niche markets help sellers and buyers navigate through the different due diligence processes to ensure the integrity of the property which is being sold or purchased.
EG: As a winner of the Certified International Property Specialist award, what advantages does your strong global business acumen offer to clients?
DD: The CIPS designation is synonymous with advanced expertise, a global perspective, and distinct understanding of a global buyer. As a designee, I have a network of Realtors® across Canada that can efficiently work with all international buyers, including U.S. residents looking to invest in Canada, foreign buyers purchasing or selling in Canada, as well as recent immigrants who might be unfamiliar with real estate transaction practices in Canada. ts.
EG: What are the most productive means of marketing real estate for adults aged 50+ who may need to consider pensions and estate planning options?
