Our interview with Rory Burkhart, CEO and Associate Broker at The Burkhart Realty Group, centres on the activity of an award-winning firm, dedicated to delivering exemplary customer service within Pennsylvania and Delaware.
 

EG: How did you first get into the property market and at what point did you realise you would have a tremendous career representing the finest properties in Pennsylvania and Delaware? 

 

RB: My career started in 2004 and I quickly realised there was a need for a higher level of service and marketing for the luxury sector.
 

EG: What are some of the most productive ways The Burkhart Realty Group leverages technology to the benefit of clients? 
 

RB: Our team leverages all of the latest technology to showcase our luxury homes. Aerial footage, Matterport 3-D technology, professional photos, videography, etc. The key is finding the proper places to market once you have the materials in place. 

 

EG: Buying and selling real estate can be a stressful experience. Tell us how The Burkhart Real Estate Group assists clients with luxury relocation?  
 

RB: We pride ourselves on listening closely to our clients and truly understanding how we can ensure that their needs are met. 

EG: In your professional experience as a realtor, what has been the greatest challenge in your career and how did you overcome this obstacle? 
 

RB: Our greatest challenge is one that we are currently facing. We have an extremely competitive market with very few homes for sale. Finding homes for our clients can be challenging. We keep a pipeline list of upcoming listings to provide access for them and stay on top of the market daily. 

EG: Your firm was awarded as one of Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Real Estate Producers 2020, as well as Top 1,000 Agents in the U.S. by Wall Street Journal. How does this set you apart from other brokerage firms, highlighting your integrity and commitment to exemplary customer service? 
 

RB: We strive to help every client know that we are working hard for them. Our true success comes from the number of referrals that we receive from our past clients and friends. We are committed to serving and making every experience a success!
 

EG: How would you compare the luxury property market across Delaware County and New Castle County with Chester County, particularly looking at investment opportunities in these areas?
 

RB: The luxury market in particular has fantastic opportunities for investment. Across all counties, replacement cost versus market price has a direct correlation to value. Most of our homes cannot be rebuilt for anywhere close to our current list price it is much more expensive to build in today’s market.  

EG: Your company motto is ‘If Your Home Matters, Your Realtor Matters’. Summarise the advantages to clients in hiring a real estate professional with a proven track record and over 100 positive testimonials?
